Updated on

Step by Step Instructions

  • Scrapping a part can only be done on on a part in an "UNUSABLE" state in the system.
  • If you are trying to remove a defective part from your system and it is not currently marked as "unusable", you must first move it to the unusable status.  This can be done one of two ways:

1. Inventory > Logistics > Logistics Manager.

2. From the Menu on the Left, select Misc Adjustments.

3. In the Header Area, select SCRAP from the Adjustment Reason* drop down window.

4. Enter the Part ID*. If you have a number of different parts, you will have to do each part on a different transaction.

5. Enter the Quantity* that you want to scrap.

6. Enter the From Place*, in the Header (your site's ST###.)

7. Enter the From Location* in the Header.

8. Enter the From Bin ID* in the Header.

9. Enter any comments you may want to track the transaction.

10. Click Submit.

A pop-up “Stock Adjustment complete” shows you that the transaction has completed successfully.

Checking the Part Transaction log for that Part ID to verify the transaction (Inventory>Part Transactions>Enter Part ID).
