1.8 What documentation do I have to keep during the Stock Count process?

Updated on

eFACTORYPRO does NOT retain Stock Count record history.  This means that other than the current Cycle Count or Physical that you are working with, there is no easy way for you to pull inventory adjustments made in this manner.

This document will give you a list of what to keep, while other documentation shows you specifically how to create and use these reports.

1. Stock Count Sheet

  • File > Reports > Stock Count Sheet
  • Enter the Run ID.
  • Hit Print.

1.1. SQL Server will open in your browser.  Wait until you see the three folders listed below.

Do NOTHING... just leave this window open and go back to the eFACTORYPRO Client.

1.2. Hit Print again on the report.

1.3. The report loads.  Click on the floppy disc and export to .pdf.

2. Stock Count Variance Details
  • File > Reports > Stock Count Variance (the top report of the two)
  • Enter the Run ID.
  • Enter your four-digit site number.
  • Hit Print.

2.1. SQL Server will open in your browser.  Wait until you see the three folders listed below.

Do NOTHING... just leave this window open and go back to the eFACTORYPRO Client.

2.2. Hit Print again on the report.

2.3. The report loads.  Click on the floppy disc and export to .pdf

You may end up running this report more than once as you correct your variances.  Be sure to Export and Save each Report.

If you run multiple copies of the variances because you re-count bins and adjust the count, be sure to keep each report.

3. Stock Count Variance Summary

  • File > Reports > Stock Count Variance (the bottom report of the two)
  • Enter the Run ID.
  • Enter your four-digit site number.
  • Hit Print.

3.1. SQL Server will open in your browser.  Wait until you see the three folders listed below.

Do NOTHING... just leave this window open and go back to the eFACTORYPRO Client.

3.2. Hit Print again on the report.

3.3. The report loads.  Click on the floppy disc and export to .pdf.

Remember, this report shows the total financial impact of the Stock Count.
