Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.
If the Spot Count is done outside the system (meaning you don't use the Inventory > Logistics > Stock Count screen to do anything with the transaction), there is NO effect on the Cycle Count Schedule.
1. From the Main Menu, enter Inventory > Stock.

2. Enter your Part ID.
3. Click the green magnifying glass.
4. If more than one record returns, pick the one that is related to your Place ID and Location in question.

5. In the center column of the header, click on the drop-down arrow next to the Spot Check Date and enter the appropriate date.
6. Click Save.

7. In this case, the Last Counted Date was 2/9/16 and the Spot Check Date was 6/24/16. This item will come up for Cycle Count in the Feb 2017 Count.
