Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.
If the part had quantity on hand when your site transitioned over to eFAPCTORYPRO, the previous bin information was loaded and pulled through to your receiving documents.
If the part did NOT have quantity on hand at the time of "go live", the first time you receive the part into 3.0, the system will remember the Bin Location and store it for future use.
1. When in the PO Receipt Record, look on the far right of the Line item.
- If there is a previous Bin Location stored in the system, it will be noted there.
2. The bin does NOT default to the lower UNITS section.
This is because you may have ordered the part for a Work Order (as in this example), or you may want to put it in another Bin Location.
3. If you want to put the part in the same bin as before, simply copy the Bin ID from the upper right section and paste it in the lower left Bin ID section.
Save and Post the Receipt as usual.
