1.3 How can I determine which parts are due for a Cycle Count?

Updated on

1. Open the ATS Reporting Server.

2. Run the Simple Inventory Status Report.

Remember, if your site has Customer owned inventory, you will select Customer for the location, if you carry only ATS owned parts, you will choose ATS for the location.

If you have both ATS and Customer owned merchandise at your site, you will run your Cycle Counts separately, but you can always run the Inventory Status report with both locations, as it separates the results by location.

3. Click on the floppy disc icon to export the report to EXCEL.

4. Open the file and sort  the "Last Counted Date" column in ascending order so the oldest date is on top.

5. Determine approximately how many parts you want to count and select the corresponding date.
