2.16 Examples of each category of "Services" to enter of GNS line type.

If Services is chosen as the GNS line type, you must enter a Services Category as well.

You will receive a validation error telling you that the Service category is missing if you try to save without the field being populated.

ALIGNMENT: Calibration alignment services.

BIN STOCK: Typically includes Fastenal, Lawson, or other on-site integrator services for vendor managed inventory/bin stock items.

CALIBRATION: Hexagon / outsourced calibration services (ex: on-site CMM calibration), certification of gauges, gauge repair.

CONSTRUCTION: Facilities work for construction services.

ELECTRICAL: Facilities work for electrical contractors.

ENGINEERING/PROJECTS: Any engineering or project service performed by an outside vendor, like eFS.

FORKLIFT: Any forklift service or repair performed by an outside vendor.

GROUNDS: Facilities grounds services.

HVAC: Maintenance Services for any HVAC units.

JANITORIAL: Facilities services.

LUBRICATION: Delivery, storage, testing, analysis, and any other lubrication services excluding the physical lubrication product itself.

MACHINE REPAIR: Any machine repair performed by an outside vendor.

OTHER - FACILITIES: Broad category to encompass any facilities work not specifically defined by another category.

PLUMBING: Facilities work for plumbing.

SAFETY: Any safety project service performed by an outside vendor such as eFS.

TOOL & DIE: Outside design, build, delivery or maintenance of tool or die equipment.
