- This work can be positioned closer to the safe zone

- Orientation(Left-hand, Right-hand)
- Designate drop off points near safe zones
Dirty Workspace
- Furthest from the customer’s path
- Far from Clean Workspace
- Utilize welding curtains or cabinets as barriers

- Heavy items stored at waist level
- Do not store on top cap
Receiving/Kitting
- Ensure shelving and bins are in place for then number of technicians
- Receiving should be closer to Supply Chain Specialist or crib attendant's desk
Workflow
- How do parts enter and leave the crib
- Orientation(Left-hand, Right-hand)
- Designate drop off points for returned parts and repairs
- 3-foot aisle ways
- Designated areas for ladders, carts, etc.
Shipping/Repairs
- Shelving for repair parts
- Shelving/table for shipping supplies
- Separate from receiving (avoids cross contamination of parts)
