CREATE PART

Property	Type	Allowed Values
manufacturer	string	Existing manufacturer name. Must resolve to an approved, active manufacturer.
manufacturerpartnumber	string	Manufacturer part number. Max 128. Also drives cleanpartid (alphanumerics only).
brand	string	Optional. Brand name under that manufacturer. Must exist, be approved, and be active.
noun	string	Existing noun name. Must resolve to an approved, active noun.
modifier	string	Optional. Modifier name under that noun. Must exist, be approved, and be active.
externalsystems	string	Optional. Comma-separated names: d365, salesforce, efactorypro. Example: "efactorypro,salesforce". Names must be unique. d365 is added automatically if omitted or missing.
repairable	bool?	true, false, or omit
description	string	Max 128 chars
notes	string	Max 1000 chars
unspsc	string	Exactly 6 or 8 digits. Invalid codes fail. Sets commoditygroup / category / subcategory. OPTIONAL.
purchaseuom	string	cm, each, ft, gl, kg, lb, liter, mile, m, pallet, yd. Defaults to each if omitted.
issueuom	string	Same list as purchaseuom. Defaults to each if omitted.
taxgroup	string	Must match an enabled taxgroup configuration value for type part. Must be lower case.
averageleadtime	int?	Must be > 0. Defaults to 10 if omitted.

UPDATE PART

Property	Types	Allowed Values
displayid	string	Existing part display ID. This is how import finds the part (id is not used).
manufacturer	string	Manufacturer name. Same resolution rules as create.
manufacturerpartnumber	string	Max 128. If changed, cleanpartid is recalculated. UniversalID and Manufacturer required.
brand	string	Brand name under that manufacturer. Must exist, be approved, and be active. UniversalID and Manufacturer required.
noun	string	Noun name. Same resolution rules as create.
modifier	string	Modifier name under that noun. Noun name required. Must exist, be approved, and be active. UniversalID and Manufacturer required.
repairable	bool?	true, false, or omit (omit = leave unchanged)
description	string	Max 128 chars
notes	string	Max 1000 chars
unspsc	string	6 or 8 digits. Hierarchy is reapplied if provided.
purchaseuom	string	cm, each, ft, gl, kg, lb, liter, mile, m, pallet, yd
issueuom	string	Same list as purchaseuom
taxgroup	string	Must match an enabled taxgroup configuration value for type part. Must be lower case.
averageleadtime	int?	Must be > 0
verified	bool?	Verified must always be "true" or "false".

MANUFACTURER CREATE
