Brand creation will fall under the Brands icon under a Manufacturer.
1. Select the Manufacturers page of the PME.
2. Select a Manufacturer in the top grid.
3. The Manufacturers info will populate. Select the Brands icon in the lower grid.
4. Select the +Brand button.
5. Enter a new brand name.
6. Enter a URL for the new brand (optional).
7. Enter any examples (300 character limit and optional).
8. Enter a Definition (1000 character limit and optional).
9. Select Create.
10. The new Brand will now populate.
11. Users will have the option via the 3 dot icon to Approve (some users), Edit, and Delete the new Brand.
When requesting a brand, you have to request that brand under a manufacturer. That means that manufacturer must already be determined and approved before you can request a brand. Once the data integrity team comes in and verifies it, then they approve it. If the data integrity team also does this process, theirs will go to the list as approved already, because they are the final check for that.
