Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.
As you would expect, much of the functionality for determining which site you are working with, as well as changing the default site in the Planner Portal, functions the same as it does in the Tech & Supervisor Work Module. You will find the site name and number listed in the upper right corner of the portal under your name, and you will see whatever is listed in your place record as your default site (as indicated with a star).
It is important to note that the Planner Portal has no implied save function. This is by design, as the P/S could be working with several Job Plans or Tasks at a time, and will want to confirm all changes before saving.
Every time you go to change to a different site, you will see a confirmation message warning you that IF you have unsaved data, you will lose it. You will be asked to either proceed or cancel before you can move on.
Let's look at an example of what that might look like in real life.
1. You will see only job plans associated with the site displayed.
2. Site Job plans will all have a Team Assigned (and that team will be associated with the Site that is being displayed.)
In this case, we want to see if the Front Load Washer Job Plan is present in both site 0493 and site 0443.
3. Using the filter, search for the Job Plan in your default site. (0493)
4. Click Apply.
5. The Grid filters to show the template(s).
6. If you want to see the details of the template (or to edit it), you could click on the three vertical dots at the right end of the line and choose Edit Job Plan.
Once you are satisfied with the Job Plan for your site, you will want to see if it is present in the other site. If not, you can copy it if need be.
7. Search for site 0443.
8. Click on the site in the drop-down to change your current site.
