Assigning a Task

30. Select the Task you wish to assign. Once the task is selected it will expand to show the user the skill set or skillsets that are required for the task. ONLY users with those specific skillsets will be able to be assigned this task by using the grid and the assign button on the days of the week. Otherwise if a technician of a different skillset must be used the planner can select the the blue Assign button in the task tile (seen above #17).

A task can still be assigned to a Tech even on the days that Tech isn't scheduled to work.

If you click the Expand Button, you can see the Tasks that have been assigned to the Technician for any certain day.

If the tech does NOT have the proper skillset the Assign button will be grayed out and not selectable. In which case the planner will use the Assign button in the task tile.

Some tasks may have multiple skillsets assigned. In this case the task may look similar to this. Users will assign the same way for ALL skillsets on a task.
