Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.
The Weekly or Monthly View is most often used for Project planning, or if you are going to have a Tech away for training for several days/weeks at a time.
1. From the Main Menu, go to Service>Schedule Board.
2. Use the calendar to adjust to the date range in question.
3. Choose The Week View.
4. Click the Person View.
5. In this case, we have a work order for Mazak Advanced training that we need to assign to Anne Reed.
Note this is a screen grab from the Work Order view for reference. Not the Schedule Board view.
6. Expand the Chevron in the lower area of the Schedule board.
7. Enter the Work Order Number and click Search.
8. Clicking on the planned start or anything that is NOT a hyperlink, drag the task to the Schedule Board.
Right click to adjust duration as needed.
9. The task is now populated for the Technician for that week.
