6.10 PLANNING WIZARD: How does the Summary Panel work in the Planning Wizard?

Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.

The Summary Panel is Step 6 of the Planning Wizard.  It is this step that allows the Planner Scheduler to confirm whether or not they have met the minimum criteria for Planned Work and allows them to move the Task(s) to the Ready for Scheduling Status Reason.

1. Go to the Planner Portal by clicking on the Planner Scheduler role in the Masthead.

2. Click on Tasks.

3. Select the Tasks you wish to work with by checking the box in front of the Task number.

4. Click the Magic Wand Icon to enter the Planning Wizard.

5. You enter the Planning Wizard at Step 1 - the Job Plan and the Summary Panel is step 6.

6. You can navigate through the Wizard by clicking through the numbers, or you can use the navigation buttons at the bottom left of the screen.

7. If you have more than one task in the Wizard, you can change the Tasks from any screen by clicking on the next Job Plan ID tab.

8. Once you get to the Summary Screen, you will see that any component that has met all the requirements shows with a green checkmark.

If you see a red X in any of the fields, that task does NOT meet the planned requirement and that piece must be addressed.

9. Click the Move to Scheduling icon under the Action button.

10. A confirmation message tells you that the Task has been marked as Ready for Scheduling and the action column changes to Already moved to scheduling.
