11.3 JOB PLANS: What makes a Job Plan "Predictive"?

Updated on

This can be a little confusing because of the way it shows up in different places, but in this article, we are talking about the JOB PLAN (task template).

The JOB PLAN is one of the KEY DRIVERS of what makes a Task Predictive, and is one major thing in the job plan that makes it a PdM:  The Category.

Most of the PdM Job Plans are Master Job Plans created by the Predictive Team.

Under the Category option, you have three choices when creating a new job plan:  PdM is the one that must be chosen in order to have the work classified as predictive.

Blank is used for Reusable Job Plans which can be applied to MOTH and MRCT related Tasks.

PMs are used for MPRO Preventative work only.  If it is Predictive, you should choose PdM.

Most of the time, you will be COPYING the Master Predictive Job Plans that have been created by the R360 Team.

For information on how to do that, please see this document.
