2.11 How do I put a PM Schedule on Hold (INACTIVE)?

Updated on

Essential Resources: To complete this training you must have access to eFACTORYPRO.

If a machine is going to be unavailable for a period of time in the future, you may wish to put the PM schedule On Hold.  In order to do this, all of the Work Orders/Tasks that have already been generated must be completed or canceled in the Work Module. But we will have to go into the Planner Portal to INACTIVATE a PM to put it on hold to make sure a PM doesn't regenerate.

1. In the Work Module click on the red arrow and select Planner/Scheduler and click on Planning.

2. Select the PM PLANS button.

3. Locate the PM that you would like to put on Hold and select the EDIT button for that PM plan.

4. In the upper right select the toggle and turn it to INACTIVE.

5. Then select SAVE.

6. A confirmation message will appear.

7. In the grid the line will now show grayed out indicating it is now INACTIVE.

This will make sure that this PM DOES NOT regenerate in the future. If you decided to reactivated. For any Work Orders/Tasks that are still active under this PM Plan will still need to be finished or canceled.
