15.3 How do I unassign a task on the Schedule Board in the CLIENT?

Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.

Unassigning Tasks on the Schedule Board is easy. This Portal screenshot shows that the task displayed in the Portal as being assigned to Anne Reed.

1. From the main menu in the CLIENT, go to Service > Schedule Board.

2. Right click on the Task you wish to unassign in the Schedule Board display.

3. Choose Unassign from the drop-down menu.

4. The Task goes back to the bottom of the list with the Owner field as blank. Before refreshing, the Owner may still show the previously assigned Technician in the list, the Task is, in fact, Unassigned.

5. You can confirm this by going to the Tech Portal, clicking on Tasks, and choosing Site Unassigned Tasks.

6. Enter the Task Number in the search field and click on the magnifying glass icon.

7. The Task will load showing that it is unassigned.
